Jon has dedicated his life to various sectors of the hospitality industry. Trained in hotel management,
a chef and Member of the Brewers Society. He decided to travel in his early 20s leading to him work in industrial catering in Namibia for two years and settled in South Africa managing various hotels. Upon getting married, he joined a catering equipment manufacturer and has worked on many large projects in all sectors of the food service industry for 19 years (BOH). He established a fast food franchise and in 2002 starting consulting again including Front of House facilities. His career has included working in most sub-Sahara countries of Africa. While a member of Round Table he was Tabler and International of the Year for his NGO - Child Help Line Project. He enjoys his work, travelling, wine, wildlife, being a hedonist and most sports.
