Graham began his Hospitality career in 1996 with Sun International as a Project Accountant at the Sun City Resort, progressing within Sun International over the next 12 years, including Operations Financial Manager rising to Chief Financial Officer at Sun City Resort. In 2000, Graham was appointed as Sun International's Resorts Division Regional Financial Manager, a position he held for 2 years.


In early 2003, Graham assumed his first strategic leadership position as Director of Operations back at Sun City Resort, responsible for the entire portfolio of the entire Sun City Resort including the 4 Hotels, Vacation Club, Gaming, Entertainment, Valley of Waves, Entertainment Centre, Sports and Recreation and all Support Departments.

After some very successful 5 years at Sun City Resort, Graham was appointed as the Divisional Director Resorts of Sun International, responsible for strategic and operational leadership for all the South African & African hotels, including sales and marketing.

Graham was headhunted to become Managing Director of Tsogo Sun Hotels in September 2008, a position he held until August 2013. This role required the strategic leadership of the entire Tsogo Sun Hotel Group, which consists of 95 hotels in South Africa, Africa & the Middle East, comprising ultra-luxury, deluxe, full service, economy and budget hotel brands.

Graham is a very passionate Hospitality professional who has a unique blend of sound commercial acumen and proven strong leadership skills. His stakeholder management is exceptional, and he has an ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and within the industry.

Graham continues to dedicate time to the development of the South African Tourism industry. He is a Board member of South African Tourism, and the chairperson of the Tourism Grading Council, the respected authority on quality tourism products in South Africa.

Married with three wonderful daughters, Graham is based in Durban and enjoys many active sports and the great outdoors of Natal.
